Children are our most precious resource. By investing in their education, we impact their future and the future of our community in a direct and positive way.
If you are a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or guardian, you understand the desire to protect your child at all costs. You want to provide your child with the skills, abilities and opportunities to do well in life.
If you are a business owner, you understand the importance of providing quality instruction and support services so that our children develop skills and talent which will enable them, as adults, to contribute to our community’s economic growth.
That is how we at the Foundation feel about the children in our schools. Even though these children were not born into our families, they are still our children and we want to take care of them. Think about it. They are going to grow up to be our future teachers, police officers, fire fighters, business owners and neighbors. They are worth our investment now.
Our Invest in a Child campaign is led by individuals on the Foundation Board who care deeply about our children and public education. Together, we can make investments in our children and our schools that will reap rewards and benefits for years to come.
