2022 Classroom Grants Awarded
In the 2021-22 school year, the Foundation for Clovis Schools awarded over $200,000 in classroom and new teacher grants, as well as $32,000 in scholarships.

Highlights included:
  • 33 Classroom, School and Emotional Wellness Grants: Awarded $200,065 to support innovative projects that help teachers engage and enhance student learning and experiences.
  • 147 New Teacher Grants: Presented a total of $29,220 to new 2021-22 teachers to help prepare their classrooms to be vibrant environments for students.
  • 16 Students of Promise Scholarships: Encouraged 16 remarkable 11th graders to pursue their goals with a scholarship upon enrollment into post-secondary education, totaling $32,000.

The Foundation also supported the launch of the Doc Buchanan Leadership Academy, where 130 Clovis Unified leaders received training, materials and mentorship built on the district's 11 leadership principles.
