Students of Promise

Classroom/ School Grants

The Students of Promise scholarship program recognizes high school juniors who are attending school on a regular basis, showing responsibility and succeeding in school despite very challenging situations in their personal lives.

Each year, the Foundation invites teachers and schools across the district to submit proposals for innovative projects that enhance learning in a creative and motivational way.

Doc Buchanan Fund

A core belief in Clovis Unified is, “It’s people, not programs that make the positive difference for kids.” Hiring and maintaining quality teachers is one of the most important things done to provide students with an exceptional education.

The Floyd B. “Doc” Buchanan Fund was established in 1981. Named in honor of the district’s first superintendent, who served more than 30 years, this fund allows the Foundation to continue supporting Clovis Unified Schools for generations to come.
